The Provinces and Territories of Canada

  • Provinces and Territories of Canada Includes Maps and other information regarding the 10 provinces and 3 territories of Canada. The difference between a territory and a province is that a province is a creation of the Constitution Act of April 17 1982, while a territory is created by federal law. The federal government has more control over a territory than a province. The three territories are Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.
